Data sources & attributions

Vettedswiss aggregates publicly available information from official Swiss cantonal registers, the federal commercial registry (Zefix), and OpenStreetMap. Below is the full attribution for each data source, as required by their respective licenses.

  • OpenStreetMap ↗

    License: Open Database License (ODbL 1.0)

    Geolocation data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Any rights in individual contents of the database are licensed under the Database Contents License (DbCL). Vettedswiss uses OpenStreetMap data for geocoding (point coordinates as factual attributes of listings) — not as a derivative database. No OSM geometries are imported in bulk.

  • Zefix / LINDAS — Federal Commercial Register ↗

    License: Open use — must provide source

    Legal entity data (company name, UID, legal form, status) sourced from Zefix via the LINDAS SPARQL endpoint (lindas.admin.ch). License: "Open use, must provide source." Source: Swiss Federal Chancellery / OFRC. Used to determine independent vs. chain operator status for childcare structures.

  • Kanton Zug — verzeichnisse.zug.ch ↗

    License: Public information — recomposed field-by-field · Last ingestion: 09.07.2026

    Structure data sourced from verzeichnisse.zug.ch, the official childcare directory of Canton Zug. The list of authorised structures is a public official act (art. 5 LDA). Vettedswiss recomposes information field-by-field (name, NPA, language) and never republishes the source in bulk. The authorisation date is shown on each listing profile. Consult the official directory to verify current status.

  • OAJE/SCAJE — Canton de Vaud ↗
